I'd like to say that dad copied me and took the same photo...but I am probably remembering incorrectly. Dad used his version of the sidewalk photo in a local camera club competition (and came in first place).
Here's my version...

The Gorge, WA
Erica and I camped out at The Gorge for the Sasquach!
This was the main stage where we saw Vampire Weekend play at sunset...
Stiched from a few photos taken with my point and shoot (SD1100IS)

Red Sox vs Orioles
Since the student bullpen tickets sold out, Marc and I decided to go for better seats. I borrowed some lenses from dad so that I could get some close up shots...all of these were 300mm at f/3.2
My face was behind the camera so much that by the fourth inning I said to Marc, "the O's scored two in the first?!"
8 frames per second on that last shot above

Macro part deux!
Ok these macro shots are funny...if you were to guess what lenses (50mm prime vs. 100mm macro) were used for the shots you may guess the reverse...
By the way, Evelyn requested a photo of something lilac since that's the official color of dentistry...

Self portrait
The theme for Eugene and my latest photo challenge was self portrait. The rules are simple: you have to be the one to take the photo of yourself - no one else could touch the shutter release.
For this shot, I had the camera on a tripod and hooked it up to my computer via USB. Using Canon EOS Utility (a remote shooting program), I adjusted focus and aperture. Slight fill flash also controlled with the software.
